Panama, led by coach Thomas Christiansen, returns to the FIFA World Cup after previously featuring at Russia 2018. Known as Los Canaleros, the Central American side reached the semifinals of the CONCACAF Nations League and finished runner-up at the 2023 Gold Cup, with midfielder Adalberto Carrasquilla among their key players.
