Scotland returned to the FIFA World Cup in 2026 for the first time since 1998, qualifying automatically after a 4-2 win over Denmark at Hampden Park. Managed by Steve Clarke, the national team were drawn into Group C alongside Brazil, Morocco and Haiti, with matches played across Boston, New York, Philadelphia, Atlanta and Miami. Scotland previously met Brazil and Morocco at the 1998 World Cup in France.
