OL - OGC Nice : L'OL en tête du classement après une victoire difficile (2-1)

Nice shocked the hosts with an early opener as Elye Wahi finished a Jonathan Clauss cross in the 18th minute, but Lyon responded before half-time through Pavel Sulc and Tanner Tessmann to turn the game around 2-1. Lyon, missing several first-team players, dominated possession and chances in the first half before being reduced to ten men when substitute Kaito Nakamura was sent off in the 70th minute for an accidental high boot on Mohamed Abdelmonem. Down a man, Lyon held firm under late Nice pressure, with Wahi hitting the post and later having a stoppage-time goal ruled out for offside, as the home side moved top of Ligue 1 on 14 points while Nice stayed 13th on 8 points.
