SCHICK Making HISTORY! | BAYER 04 LEVERKUSEN - SC FREIBURG | Highlights | MD 6 – Bundesliga 2026/27

Freiburg, who arrived as early pace-setters, took a surprise lead when Derry Scherhant finished off a move involving Philipp Treu and Niklas Beste in the 14th minute. Leverkusen responded quickly as Patrik Schick combined with Moussa Diaby before setting up Ibrahim Maza, who levelled with a clinical outside-of-the-boot finish five minutes later. The decisive moment came in the 76th minute when Maza evaded several defenders and squared the ball for Schick to convert his sixth league goal of the campaign, making him the only Leverkusen player to score in each of the first six Bundesliga matchdays. Freiburg pushed for a late equaliser through substitutes but could not find a way past a resolute Leverkusen defence. Watch the full Bayer Leverkusen vs Freiburg highlights and every goal above.
